    Figure it this way: many girls are afraid to have their hair chopped short in one cut because of the "imaginary, illusional comfort zone syndrome" so....they have their hair cut twice or even three times to short.

    I think it's great and unselfish to a degree that these girls are having their long hair cut off. Some for the first time in their adult life perhaps?! A change is always good for personal growth.
